In order to provide you with the necessary information regarding our Hostal, the region and the booking conditions, we need your personal basic information.

Because we assume that you would like to know why we request your personal information and what happens to it, we made this overview. It approximates how we deal with your personal data, from a privacy perspective in general and the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in particular.

MANAGE YOUR FILES

If you have ever booked with us, we store the following information for the management of your file in an electronic personal data sheet:

  • Name and Surname
  • Address (private)
  • Telephone number (private, mobil, whatsapp)
  • Email address
  • Language
  • Nationality
  • Account number (for bookings/reservations)

By using this information we can deal with the rental contract that you conclude with us, the commitments that are entered into and where you also keep up to date with information that is relevant to you.

In some cases not all parts of information from the list above are necessary to manage your services.

PROVIDE SERVICES

You can reach us online via the contact form that is published on our websites. The information you provide us with via this contact form will be registered. In order to help you quickly with questions, we use your stored personal data. As a result of the online mail traffic, notes will be saved. This is useful if you contact us again afterwards.


PROVIDE INFORMATION

Providing information is an important part of our service. This happens both online via web, social media and mail.

To inform you we regularly send emails and newsletters. Our newsletters keep you informed of what is going on in the region and in Spain in general.

We have general and personal newsletters. We put the personal newsletters together based on your data, which makes the newsletter more focused on you. The information on which your profile is based is not shared with third parties.

You can sign up for newsletters in different ways. In addition to registering via the website, this can also be done by handing in your email address to us personally.

If you no longer wish to receive our newsletters, please use the unsubscribe link that contains each newsletter.


GIVE FEEDBACK TO IMPROVE OUR SERVICES

We continuously work on the quality of our services.

When you indicate that you like an article, depending on your settings on social media platforms, you will be able to have that article appear on your social media account. If you ask us a question via social media and we see that question coming through, we will save that message and your account name so that we can respond to your message.


KEEPING TRACK OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We keep the personal information you provide during the duration of your registration on our newsletter.

Our retention periods are:

  • Contact information: until you inform us that you no longer wish to receive information
  • Subscription newsletter: until you inform us that you no longer wish to receive the newsletter via the unsubscribe link

The retention period can never be shorter than the legally stipulated retention period.

There is a difference between session cookies and persistent cookies. Session cookies will only exist until you close your browser.
